On Tuesday, Delta and American Airlines announced that they will stop offering alcoholic beverages on domestic flights and no, bringing your own bottle will not be allowed!
Alcoholic beverages will only be served on long international flights or to first class passengers on any flight.
This change in policy is not limited to US-based airlines only. Virgin Atlantic, easyJet, KLM and British Airways also confirmed they had removed alcoholic beverages on short-haul flights.
